Other Always on display coming to iPhone 13 pro models

Nice but most people on here said they didn’t need it... well until Apple tells them they do ha - just like 120hz screens.
Pardon my ignorance ... I get the usefulness of always on with the watch but what purpose does it serve with a phone?
Probably to always have the time showing, as well as maybe some indication of any unread notifications.
I don't care much about the "Always On' for the iphone as most of the time my phone is in my pocket or on the desk with screen facing down. I have my watch for that. So for me I'll have the "Always On" set to Off when it comes.
That is the one feature I miss from Android, it’s fantastic, glad to hear it’s coming
What if... not everyone had an Apple Watch?
Don't care about that because I'm only talking about me not anyone else so don't care about someone else not having a watch. not my problem.
Yeah, I have an Apple watch as well. I prefer to just glance at my wrist instead of pulling out my phone to look at every notification or check the time. No need for AO lighting up my pocket.
I am ambivalent about the feature although if it does happen, it would be perfect for viewing my iPhone 12 mini in the Apple sleeve.
I like it on the Android. Time date email/text notification etc without having to wake the phone up
