I am trying to free up some space on my 2018 15" Mac Book Pro as I keep getting reminders that my disk space is getting low.
I thought quick way was to move all my 700+ photos on to my external 1Tb hard drive.
Every time I do this they are only saved on the hard drive as little 200-300Kb thumbnail whereas the originals are 16-20Mb.

How do I save the full files please?

If this is posted in the wrong place, please move.

Cheers

You could also relocate the entire Photos library, if you're using the Photos app: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201517

Sorted (I hope) Located the Library and moved it to the HDD and all photos there as originals.
Now deleted all photos from computer, 21Gb but going to Disk Utility it show3s I have only added 2Gb to available space???
