I just got a subscription to MLB tv so I could watch the game on the road since I am traveling this weekend, I was hoping to be able to watch the game while on the highway, while my wife drive for a while, well, so far tying to watch the game has been very enoying!!! The picture drops every 30 seconds to a minute...

We are driving from NY to VA, so the question is, am I asking to o much, I have tried with and without 3G restrictor and I just get the same results...

Thank you in advance for your help...

Hmm...I don't think anyone can really help you with this here.

If you think it is the app's problem and not the 3G, maybe you can contact the developer?

Are you going through hilly areas? Odds are it is your 3G signal while you are moving.

Using MLB at Bat on the iPad with the 12 month sub on MLB.TV for $100 (just to be clear) I have not had this experience. This year I opted not to buy either for my iPhone nor my iPad. I am home a lot so it's all good in the hood.

But last season I did not experience this type of behavior unless I had 2 bars or less. I'd consider that as your issue first, reception.

Well, yes, there were some hills, but even now, at the hotel, I'm still having a hard time...

I guess that I'm looking for some input on how it is working for others.

My next thing is to see how well the MLB tv works on the laptop while using the wireless card, to try to determine if the problem is the app, the connection or the service... ( and I do think that 109 for a season is a bit pricy... But I have to watch the yanks...)

Yes, 3G iPad with MLB at bat, with 12 month subscription. And using the ipads 3G service...

I was also thinking that the problem was reception, but I'm at the hotel now, so I'm not moving and have all the bars on... And I had all the bars while driving too, but I figure that since I was moving on the highway, then maybe I was hitting some dead spots... Who knows, I just hope I can figure it out soon, or I will try to call customer service at MLB tv and see what they think...
