I did a traceroute, and several of the nodes my traffic goes through are registered to the DISA, the Defense Information Systems Agency.

DISA? The DoD? What the f*uck is going on? Damn...

I haven't done anything, that I know of.

Anyone have an idea?

The IP is 7.0.80.71.

On Mac if you really want to paranoid then get the shareware Little Snitch for Mac. Think of it as Outgoing of ALL traffic you are transmitting, it will open your eyes to ALL outgoing data on your Mac!

Now is DOD your ISP (at work, military, contractor) or a Private ISP?
