My story is this:
First 27" iMac I bought had display issues (flickering, horizontal bars, dock shift) so the Genius DOA'd it and gave me a 2nd one). The 2nd one was yellow, yellow, yellow, so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for iMac #3. In the meantime I got in touch with Apple Executive Relations and they wanted my 2nd and 3rd machines to send into engineering. So I swapped it out for a 4th iMac, which still had the yellow tinge, but I had decided to wait for a fix before doing anything.
So I got the call this past Monday that "new" displays were ready and available that would fix the yellow tint/tinge issue...

After 5 days at the apple store I receive iMac #4 back and to my dismay, it's still yellow. At this point I am unsure what my next course of action should be?

Here are some pics (exposed properly, shot from tripod in RAW and developed in Aperture 3 with no adjustments). Should I just live with it??? Keep in mind this is suppose to be the "new" and "fixed" LCD panels...

Yeah there's a slight bit of yellow there, but it's nothing too dramatic. Would you honestly see the yellow tinge while doing anything on your computer OTHER than having full sized white windows and looking for the yellow tinge?

I think you should keep it and just enjoy the computer.

I tend to agree...

Normal work, normal background it's probably not noticeable... But just knowing it's there and being told the new LCD panel would fix the yellow tint/tinge... I am starting to believe this issue will never be fixed until Rev 2 or even Rev 3 of these machines.
If I tell myself to live with it, I probably could... But it still burns my @ss and if Apple would give me a refund I'd probably go for it at this point and use one of my older macs until/if this goes away.

Truth be told, I don't think you'll get an LCD better than that from any LCD manufacturer. The nature of their backlighting technology makes it so LCDs will never have perfectly uniform color/brightness.
