Hi All -

My iPad only syncs with MobileMe if I shut it off and power it up again. I seem to be unable to sync when either I (a) add an event, contact, etc. or (2) add something on my desktop and do a manual sync.

My iPhone syncs just great so my question is: Is there a setting I have missed? I just don't understand why it won't sync in every day usage but syncs when I run through a power cycle.

Thanks for any responses.

Look under settings, in the "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars" tab. Make sure that under "accounts" the tab that says Fetch New Data is set to "Push". I think that might fix your problem if I understand what your saying correctly

I had this issue on my iPhone 4. I eventually deleted the mobile me account, then set it up again. Problem gone....
