So for the second morning in a row I have been riding my bike to school attempting to listen to pandora. At home with wifi of course it works without a hitch, but the moment I'm out of wifi range and on edge the problems begin. Most songs take forever to load, and the ones that do load cut out or skip randomly to the next song. Anyone else having problems or know a solution for this?

Hmm i know that Pandora does not work that great but my problems with pandora are not as bad like yours... I usually travel from home to work (about 1 hour drive) and usually i dont get that bad of drops.

The only "solution" I can think of is to get a 3G iPhone.

Chances are if he's not getting good EDGE speeds, he doesn't have the 3G network in his area yet. I could be wrong though, but Pandora works just fine on EDGE in Southern California.

It must be the coverage in your area, or perhaps just a bad day.

Using EDGE I just did a 3 hour round trip last night at highway speeds, listening to Pandora the whole time... with only one hiccup to rebuffer which took about 10 seconds.

It's definitely possible.
