I notice the majority of people showing their watch have the band facing towards them. I've always found that annoying because I tend to push the band out of the loop when I put my arm down. You pull your arm towards you more often than push it away, so I would always have to put the band back in the loop many times daily when I bought a watch with a preinstalled band that was difficult to change.

With the AW and the simplicity of the band swapping, I've finally been able to wear the band as I wish which puts the latch on the outside and the longer area on the inside so when on my arm it points the longer end outwards instead of inwards.

I'm not sure that's even possible. If you're pulling your arm towards yourself, it's only because you've pushed it away, at some point. Lol

Anyway I agree that it's nice to have options as far as bands are concerned!

You mean with the buckle on the bottom if you were holding up the watch with the dial facing you?

If so, that’s strange. I’ve never seen even a non Apple Watch with that configuration

That's lame. It was nice having the option at 11 months or so to decide if the update was worth it or buy AppleCare and keep it for a while longer.

Here’s a visual. First how it’s typically worn and the band is pressing backwards towards the clasp trying to push out of the loop when it touches anything as you lower your arm. Then, how I wear mine where the band isn’t sticking out catching on the counter pushing back, or against my leg when I’m resting my arms, pushing out of the loop. It’s just better.

It looks like the normal way to wear a watch. The ends of all my none metal bands face outward.
