Seems people are still whinging about the new iMacs, I have seen many appreciation threads, my i7 is 2 months old I've had no problems and I have pushed it, I've mixed and mastered some tracks of my covers band

The only thing that was unacceptable was the visually crippling mirror like screen which I fixed with one of these

Anyone else have a problem free new iMac?
Mine is almost perfect... (Well, in terms of computer it is).
The only thing that annoys me is the, yet acceptable, light yellowing at the bottom and right of the screen. But, as I will be able to repair it (if I ever repair it since it is hardly noticeable) when 27" iMac panels will have no such problem, I do not consider it a serious problem..
Otherwise - simply amazing and perfect. No loud HD noise (cannot say the same of the external drive 2TB Lacie...) And the i7 simply flows. Really.. Nothing compared with my previous 2.0GHz Dual Core Toshiba lol (yes, this iMac is my first (hopefully of many more =D) Mac!
Simply delighted with Snow Leopard (specially compared with Vista ..(and I suppose even 7) from which I came).
And being able to install Windows through Boot Camp (which I'll do) is simply great. That way you occupy like 100/200 GB with wind7 and you are able to play some hardcore games and run windows-only software.. If it wasn't for the connectivity issues of MBP (lack of HDMI, eSata, for example) I would say I would definitely never again buy a PC. Like things are right now I say probably I won't lol - But a 1000$ Toshiba with i7, 4GB, eSata, HDMI and blu-ray is REALLY hard to resist when compared to the actual MBP's..
But hopefully by the time I will buy my next portable computer (1/2 years) MPS's will be more competitive - Lack of HDMI and blu-ray are the most important for me.
Well sorry the off topic, but i was in the mood to write something down
