I'm guessing there is aready thread for this but there doesn't seem to be much talk about it, so I want to get an idea of if there's actually a problem.
Have people noticed a difference in battery performance after their 3GS jailbreak, either on purplera1n or redsn0w? Before the jailbreak I was under the impression that my battery didn't have any problems but now after using purplera1n RC2 I've had dramatically reduced battery performance... for example...
Took the first screenshot, then began playing Spore for around 8 or 9 minutes, it was then interrupted by a phone call that lasted about 7 minutes. So in 16 minutes I lost 5%!! Thats around 1% every 3 minutes or so.
I've heard setting the iPhone up as a new phone fixes battery issues with a non-jailbroken phone? So should I try this, then rejailbreak? Can anyone relate to this issue or am I in the minority with this problem.
I've only downloaded SBSettings, Categories, and Spotbright
