Received my XS max yesterday. With IOS12 did they remove the AM/PM indicator next to the time in the upper left corner? My iPad Pro 10.5 with IOS 12 has the am/pm notation.

I recall that those also depend on language/region settings as well, in case that might be in play in some way.

I had the X for a year and now have the Xs. I never recall seeing an AM or PM in the upper corner by default.

Apple.com/feedback ? About the only option I can suggest. There is not enough room for everything with the notch. I could also complain that I do not know if I have an alarm alarm or not since that icon is hidden. As is the battery percentage. But the software evolved to support the display.

Or devolved... lol (became less useful to accommodate a hardware design change)
