This is a 2.16 Mid 2007 MacBook I scored on eBay for only $75. It is in perfect working order and has very little signs of age.

Pretty standard price for them tbh, they made loads so the market’s saturated and they perform pretty poorly (GPU worse than the previous iBook IIRC).

Not to poop on your purchase though, hope you enjoy it!

I am wondering will people in the future love the Macs of today as they love the Macs from 2000s?
I think that their resale values will remain higher than their PC counterparts, but I don't think that today's Macs will be as interesting to collect as Macs from the past.

Older Macs, especially from the PPC days, were very unique to other computers and electronics.

The iMac G4 for example, is my favorite Mac design. It is beautiful, unique, and really stands out.

Walk around a Best Buy today, many of the laptop and all in one computer demos look very similar to Macs.
