Browsed the feedback section for this ram. I am really worried as almost all the complaints about the memory not working for whatever reason are from Mac owners. The manufacturer is also really quick to respond to the negatives and in almost every case they recommend a different ram to be used.
Great deal but I am steering clear of this one. Seems like too much of a headache just to save 10 or so bucks.

!!!!! READ the 6 bad feedbacks out of 187 more CAREFULLY!!!!!!!!!
*****************************************************************************************************
1) first bad one says they put it in a macbook pro that wants 1066 ram.
Cons: I received my new ram about 2 days ago and since i installed them on my 09 Macbook Pro i've been getting kernel panic's i looked around on the forums and found out that kernel panic's are usually caused by faulty ram sticks... i also purchased this when they were are sale and they were suppose to include a 2GB flash drive that i didn't receive... I felt like this was a great deal and i wish i can trust G.Skill again but i am a very unsatisfied customer...

2) second bad one says the same:
Cons: Installed this once I received the shipment. At start-up everything seemed okay, the new RAM was applied in my 2009 Mid Year Macbook Pro 13". RAM was identified and everything seemed a lot faster than usual. However, I began to notice wait times in applications (games) and browser crashing with Mozilla and Chrome. Media streams were also bad and crashed almost everytime. This never happened only until I installed the new set of RAM. It also rebooted on me a couple of times already for some reason. I'm starting to think I have a defective set of RAM.

3)third one
Cons: One stick didnt work. To much of a hassel to send it back and wait to get a new one.
who knows what machine?

4)fourth one is for a macbook pro 2011 17 inch That is the same model that kills off owc ssds. A model that on owc blog's is called a quirky dog and buy the 15 inch IF YOU WANT A SATA III SSD
Cons: Ordered 4/25/11. Started seeing odd issues about 2 weeks ago, it would freeze in sleep mode or the display wouldn't wake back up. Apps were being slow or would crash. Initially thought it was the OS until my laptop had a kernel panic this past weekend. Reset the SMC & PRAM, tried target disk mode, booting from the Install DVD & an external Hard Drive. All caused a kernel panic on POST. Pulled the GSkill RAM & put the OEM SIMMs back in. It booted right up. The 1 stick that won't cause a KP fails 4 out of the 5 tests on TechTool Pro hardware test.
The thing I'm most disappointed in, as I didn't notice it when it was installed, the memory modules have an "S" stamped on them. This is usually a sign that 2nd tier (AKA cheaper) chips were used. NEVER seen RAM with this before. Haven't tried RMA yet with them but not hopeful I will see non-s chips on the replacement & will take much longer than ordering from OWC imo... Not much confidence in this brand right now.

5)fifth one
Cons: they do not work with my dell E4310. either blue screen pops up or system freezes after 'starting windows' goes off. very bad experience. I had to use my old 4g module.

6)sixth one
Cons: Tried to install three times, checked for correct seating, but did not work. Sad, because it is a very good price and would have loved to have more memory to run applications.

so of the six bad reviews out of 187 only one is clearly a mac that uses 1333 ram. Plus that mac has had know issues with chips in the owc sata III ssd's. I would have no problem buying more of this if needed.
what about the 156 good reviews out of 187?
