Hi iPhone app fans,

I've been working hard on a new app that is great for using as an ice breaker at pubs and parties.

Unfortunately the AppStore is not updating at the moment so I'm having trouble getting the word out about it. Hence this post.

I've created the app so that you detect a number of things as standard;

BS Detector,
Metal Detector,
Virgin Detector
and a Geiger Counter.

Of course it's just controlled by the accelerometer but you only need to tilt it very slightly and you could trick a few people. But it's more just for a bit of fun. The metal detector could trick a few people when you run it over your watch. But you can also pick up girls by running the virgin detector over them. Great for breaking the ice.

The other great feature is you can type in anything you like and create a *** Detector.

You can find out more about it at the Webtopia website

or download it straight from the App Store.
Amazing Universal Detector

After all it's free, so check it out and let me know what you think of it.

Cheers,
Travis

This app is beyond pointless.

Don't, even for a moment, think about giving up your day job.

Oh... And why is this app asking for my location?

It asks for your location for the admob ads to work.

These type of apps can be very popular. Just look at iBeer!

But if it's not for you that's fair enough. :)

Makes sense. As soon as I disabled admob, it no longer asked for my location.

Bad Bad ads.

Well I understand that.

But with 100,000 apps in the store and apple having problems all the time with review process it's making it harder to earn a crust.

Especially when people only want cheap or free apps. Ads are the only way sometimes.

I write about it in my blog, see signature below.

It's not my thing, but good luck with it. It's free, the interface looks good, andyou have some hard work put into it. I hope it does well for you.

Thanks for your support.

Like I mention in this post and in my blog.

The App Store is not updating at the moment. So it's not likely to do well simply because no one can find it.
