Amazon apple tv orders

they may not get there shipment for a couple days. I've been calling my local apple store now pretty much starting today everyday to see if they have them. If they get them in and nothing from amazon, I'll just cancel my order and pick them up locally.

Ordered mine on the night of September 1 with Amazon Prime (free 2-day shipping). Amazon stopped making orders available a while ago, but you can preorder them again (as of an hour or two ago). I spoke to an Amazon customer service rep via chat an hour ago, here's a screenshot:

tl;dr: He upgraded my delivery speed to 1-day and said that they will be shipping tomorrow, and I will have it by Friday.
I'm taking what he said with a grain of salt, so I'm in the same boat as the OP. If I don't hear anything by Friday and they're in stores, I'm canceling Amazon and picking it up.

I've gotten no update on my order, I tried contact them also, with no luck on it and that was on Tuesday or Weds. I ordered on the 10th, hence why I ordered through amazon, figured be less popular then apple and be faster cause the shipping estimates on apple site didn't look pleasant. I've been trying my local stores every day to see if they have em, so that way if they're available I'll just get one locally and cancel my order but still no luck, hopefully tomorrow my apple store will have them and not sell out by the time I get up.
