Um.. I was looking on amazon.com today and realised that under "Computers and Electronics" sales ranks 2 through 7 are ALL macs, then 11, 15, 16 and 18 are also macs. Is this some kind of joke? or are that many macs selling?

With the rebates, it is usually the cheapest place to get a new stock Mac. With some computer companies (like Dell), you can find coupon codes and offers all over the place - except when you need one; with others, you can usually get a good sale from Circuit City or some other such place
