Ordered a mac mini for $449.95 from Amazon on Thanksgiving day and it arrived today, Monday, at noon.
Can't beat that for fast delivery, waiting for the $80 dollar 20" monitor I bought from BB also on Thanksgiving day before I unpack it and set it up.

Gotta love Amazon. I've ordered stuff on a friday around 3pm central time, they asked if i would like it for saturday delivery.

Can't go wrong with a Prime account, i've paid of it with 2 day shipping, and over night shipments.

How’d you score a Mac mini for $449 at Amazon? Is it an older model? The current low-end model retails for $599 and Amazon generally keeps it on sale for $565-575.

It was a Thanksgiving Day sale, the price went up to $579 on Black Friday and I haven't checked but it probably is up to the $599 price today. It is not an older model it is the current model, just lucky I guess but Mac Mall and and Mac Warehouse had them at that price that day also. I am pretty sure those are the two sites I also checked but I may be wrong, I bought off of Amazon because I have alway had positive experience with them.

Prime has turned my roommates and I into Amazon fiends! It's almost to the point where if Amazon doesn't sell it, I don't want to buy it online.

Yeah, I ordered some stuff from Amazon somewhat recently on a Saturday evening; they shipped a CD from the order separately, which arrived in the mail the following Monday morning. This is after being shipped from one coast to the other, and I'm not exactly near any kind of major distribution center. Still can't quite figure out how that was even possible unless the U.S. mail operates on Sunday, which I didn't think they did (I got the "part of your order has shipped" email notification after I got the physical item...).

I’m the same way and my UPS driver hates me for it. I swear he’s here at least twice per week.

I buy everything I can from Amazon from simple household items to music to computer parts.
