Ditto. Not sure how we will like it, but I've made worse $20 decisions before. Besides, it helps with the fact that two of our TV's aren't smart TV's and can sure use this to help buy us more time before replacing them.

I picked one up as well. Delivery date is now 12/3 for me, but I'm cool with that. I'm sure I could do dumber things in life with $20.

I'll probably bite. For $20, it's worth a shot. Especially with a remote.

I've got numerous chromecasts and use them almost daily. The one thing they have over something like this is the ability to mirror what's in a tab on my Mac.

I'd really like to get it for $20, but I'm afraid my modest Samsung flatscreen -- bafflingly, really annoyingly -- does not have its own audio-out ports. So I always need to connect devices directly to my separate sound bar.

I don't suppose this stick could have a bluetooth audio-out option? Or any other way I could connect it to my sound bar without having a weird hdmi splitter or something?

Yea unfortunately I believe you need an hdmi splitter w/ audio out, just like you would for chromecasts

One of my TV's is a sumsung with no audio out like yours.

bluetooth audio out would be nice, but I see nothing about fire tv stick having it :)

Ordered. Would like to find a solution to stream NFL Network from my laptop/iMac to it. Would also be nice if the FiOS TV app would work on it at some point.

Thanks for confirming. I got this tv for such a great price (CL barely used 32inch for like 130), the picture settings are nicely optimized and I otherwise have the hookups all handled. So I cant complain too much.
Except that yeah it still seems an entirely selfish move on Samsung's part. :p

For that price I got 2 with 1 for me and the other for a buddy :D. I already have an atv3 on one tv but none on my second tv. For this price it should be fine until atv4 comes out ;)

I ordered 1 but Amazon won't let me order a second one at this price it seems. Thanks for the heads up on these. I didn't really need one but I bought it anyway. Will make a nice gift if I don't keep it.

I just attempted to order a second one, and they actually have stopped taking preorders at this point :)

Really? Just checked again and I could still preorder. It appears it's just limited to one per account. Logged into my wife's account and could preorder it.

ahh that could have been it. I was using an account where I already got one. What is the ship date at now?
