Amazon i5. $2799?!?!?

So i was on amazon seeing if they had good deals. All I could find was the i5 for $2799. Can anyone explain this?

Even more . It was $1999 when I selected it ($1972 when you clicked on the price but only 1 left).

Amazon isn't selling it for $2799, that price is from a 3rd party seller called Techno Intelligence.

When you saw the price for $1999 or whatever, it was probably direct from Amazon or a more reasonably priced seller.

Yes, Amazon apparently doesn't have any in stock so the only choice they are giving you is to buy it from an overpriced seller.
