A MacBook Pro for under a 1000 - now that would be something to cheer about
Seven weeks is quick for you? I mean they made the rebate application very easy, no cutting the box or mailing anyhing, so I liked it, but I did not think seven weeks was quick.tivoboy said:yes, the rebates come pretty darn quick too,
I bought an intelmac, and had the rebate I think the last week of march, so about seven weeks total.
150$ off.

Not many, maybe about 6 times before.WildCowboy said:Ever filled out a rebate before? Six months is not unusual...
I had a no show from Microsoft once, but the rest of the time, they all arrived in about 2 months, so 7 weeks is about average for me. As the whole application for Amazon's rebate is in electronic domain, they don't have any excuse to delay the issuing of the check. No need for anybody to enter your name and address to a computer, no need to check if all the serial numbers check out... A server does everyhing automatically, anything more than 2 weeks is just using my money interest free.if they don't forget to send it, it doesn't get lost in the mail, or they find some way to disqualify you.
Seven weeks is pretty good.

In any case, I'd do it again for $150.
