First of all, if this is the wrong forum, pardon and mods please relocate. I have a mac mini running 10.10.1 I have a VPN service and occasionally watch cycling events on a London UK site. Later when I try and watch a movie on Amazon Prime it rejects the request indicating that copyright restrictions prohibit it; obviously it has me located in the UK. The kicker is I always disconnect the VPN service when I'm through.

I also find that occasionally when I use Amazon.com I am linked to Amazon.uk. Again, I'm not running the VPN service. Any ideas just where the connection to the UK is being maintained and how I can set it straight?

Thanks, Rich

What information does it give you when you check your IP address after you disconnect? Perhaps there are cookies or local data involved. Is that ‘London UK’ site related to Amazon or does it have Amazon ads? You could try clearing your Amazon cookies before you go back to it or use a private window instead.
