i am wondering if it is finally again possible to stream Amazon Prime Video in HD on Macs using an External Display , for example using the New Mac Mini 2018.
Last time i tried it miserably failed, eg. on a Mac Pro 5,1 running latest OS with Stock Radeon 5770 (perfectly HDCP Capable). The same Computer would stream Amazon Prime Video in HD without problems on a Bootcamp partition running Windows 7.
No Macmini i ever tried (2006 to 2011) would allow streaming Amazon Prime Video in HD with an external Monitor; It would complain of HDCP issues even when connecting an HDCP enabled monitor via its Digital Port.
Can somebody confirm that a Macmini 2012 , 2014 or 2018 can succesfully achieve Streaming in HD with Amazon Prime Video?
