hi i have some simple yet very important questions about buying through amazon.

1)when will the new i5 imac be on amazon, i have been looking everywhere but cant find them.

2)if i buy at amazon and theres something wrong with my imac (lets say yellow screen :p) can i go change it at any apple store?

3)how safe is it? (concerning shipping and handling)

1 dunno
2 yes
3 dunno, but i assume very amazon seem to be very good at what they do and provide a high quality service!

1. That's up to Apple and Amazon, no one here would know when or even if Amazon will carry that model.

2. You can take it to an Apple Store for service however if for any reason you want to exchange you have to deal directly with Amazon. The same would hold true if you purchased from Worst Buy or any other retailer.

3. I would say as safe as if Apple's shipping. There are a finite number of shippers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc..) that can handle this type of shipment. At the end of the day all have their plus's and minus's. I've had good luck with all three and have read numerous horror stories about all 3 too. In short, I wouldn't worry about it. The worst thing that could happen is the machine would be lost or damaged when it arrived however Amazon would make it good and ship you another machine.

thanks a lot i hadt seen it, the problem is that im taking this computer tu buenos aires, and im really nervous about it, thanks a lot for your help.

i guess i will take he risk.
