Amazon rebate

Amazon has $100 rebate on the new 24" 2.4ghz imacs so I convinced the wife that this was too good of a deal to pass up. Noticed a $30 credit for using a new Amazon Visa card so I got instant approval on one for the extra savings. Will pay it off when I get the first statement. The rebate/credit just about paid for Applecare ($149) and I've got 4gb of memory on the way from newegg.com. Also ordered the family pack of iWork from Amazon to take care of my two mac minis, too.

Everything will be here tomorrow so it's going to be a fun weekend!

(BTW, there's also a $75 rebate on the 20" 2.4ghz.)

They are relatively quick to pay you back with the rebate.

One time it took longer then 6 weeks.

I called them.

Bam. They said sorry and sent me the check that day.

I'm happy.

Congrats, have a fun weekend! I'm still sorta on the honeymoon with mine.
Helpful note, use a slow hand when opening the ram compartment and make sure to use the "correct" size philips head.
