the following price is the best price i have ever seen for a 256gb ssd

389 usd for an eol ssd that is 1.50 usd per gb here is a pdf on the drive

note the 10 year warranty if you brick this drive it is eol this means the rma will be an upgrade.most likely to a pat inferno.

if you know how to use this it is a good deal. seems to me a pair in raid0 for work drives would be nice.

Back in end of December, Intel 256GB was at this price from newegg.com. the price should be good at the end of this year.

Does anybody know how would that work on a MP?

Of course they work, but Indilinx is pretty much the worst you can buy these days. Poor performance, horrible firmware support and all in all not comparable to modern drives any more.
Even the Intel G2 drives (which are about as old) shred the Indilinx drives to pieces.

Simply put, if you're interested in a SSD, go Intel or Sandforce.
