Today we're tracking a pair of deals on Apple's sixth generation iPad mini and fifth generation iPad Air, both of which are available on Amazon. These iPads can be delivered as soon as Friday, June 7 for Prime members in the United States.

Starting with the 256GB Wi-Fi M1 iPad Air, Amazon has this model for $549.99, down from $749.00. This is an all-time low price on this model of the 2022 iPad Air, and it's available in Blue and Purple.

Apple introduced new M2 iPad Air models last month, which is why we're seeing steep discounts on the previous generation models more often. You can still save a bit of money on the 2024 models if you're interested in owning the latest version.

Secondly, Amazon has the 64GB Wi-Fi iPad mini 6 for $399.99, down from $499.00. This one is a second-best price on the iPad mini, and it's available in three colors: Space Gray, Starlight, and Purple.

Keep up with all of this week's best discounts on Apple products and related accessories in our dedicated Apple Deals roundup.

Does anyone know when the previous gen iPads show up on the refurb store after a new launch? This deal isn’t bad, but I’d rather pay closer to the $469 the 4th gen 256GB refurbs are going for on Apple’s site (I need to buy two), but would rather have the newer M1 chip since it should last longer with updates, probably 4 more years at least.

Both of my kids need new iPads. My 10 year old daughter has a 10.5” iPad Pro 64GB from 2017 that we bought her refurbished during the early pandemic, and my son’s iPad is in even worse shape, my ancient iPad Air 2 from 2014. My daughter’s isn’t in terrible shape or anything, mainly she needs more storage, and the battery is a bit worn down at this point. My son’s is 128GB and he hasn’t used it all yet, but needs more than 64GB. My daughter uses her iPad a lot for copying down photos and videos that she takes on the camera I bought her last year, and she likes to edit things in iMovie.

Wait a bit and see what apple’s back to school promotion brings. It should start any day now. Last year they gave you a $100 gift card with any iPad Air. If it repeats this year you would get the 128GB M2 air for $450 assuming you use the gift card (since you want to buy two you can do separate orders and apply the gift card from the first order to the second).

Get an open box / refurbished / 2nd hand or if you can find it sealed M1 pro. They are the ultimate frugal iPad atm. Better than m1 or m2 air, 128gb can be found under 500-550 dollars refurbished. Heck, I got myself a second hand really good condition M1 2TB iPad Pro 11" Wi-Fi (+Apple Pencil +Magic Keyboard) for 750 dollars a week after M4 debut

Don’t forget half the storage and camera on the wrong side with that Air compared to getting the new one. Thank me later
