Ambience vs. 2.2

The sound effects in ambience turn off now once you lock the phone. Anyone else have this problem?
 
It happens with many (but not all) apps with audio. aSleep has the same problem, as does Wunderradion, Custom Sounds of Nature, Hypnosis, and MindWave. Pandora and AOL Radio work fine.
