I just bought a 5770 for my Mac Pro 1,1 on Ebay, will I need a special power cable for it or is there one in the system? If I need one I am hoping it comes with one, but I'm also not holding my breath. If I need a cable are they easy to find and relatively inexpensive?

Thanks

If you bought an Apple 5770, the power cable comes in the box with the card.

Although if it's eBay and it's not in it's original box, who knows. Ask the seller.

I you don't get one just search eBay for "mac pro video cable" - they've got plenty.

it should probably be mentioned that your old videocard has one of these cables, and if you're repacing it, you can simply swap the cable to the new one.

Actually my old video card is the stock Nvidia 7300GT which has a passive heat sink, so now I have to get the cable.
