I have in my 5,1 mp dual gpu setup (an hd 5870 for the boot screen, and a 5500xt for gamin on windows). i have recently reinstalled windows as it was crashing all the time. The thing is that the new install did not get the rx 5500xt's drivers. i've been trying with all the versions of AMD autoinstaller (adrenalin, software pro and even cathalist) but all get the same error of no amd device conected to the computer. so i forced the install by uncompressing the amd install program and telling windows to manualy get whatever it found in there. As for now i can use both gpus, the 5500 xt as the main, and the 5870 as a video output for second display. Even though i still get some random crashes when the computer is at idle. And when putting it under stress with games like PUBG (temps dont go up of 60ºc in ether the gpus cpus).
So if anyone knows how to remedy the amd drivers issue and why it is constantly crashing please let me know.

I found with my RX-580 that the Apple BootCamp drivers for graphics identify the card as something else. Removing them allowed me to install AMD drivers.
You have to make sure that whatever drivers are installed do not have AVX2 instructions not supported by the old Xeons in the 5,1. That will cause random crashes.
