In new iMacs is AMD Pro 580 with Sierra 10.12.5, does it mean we can uses RX580 in MP with Sierra 10.12.5 ? Drivers should be there, or is the Pro 580 in iMac different from RX580?

drivers are coming to all Macs with 10.12.6. they're included already in the latest 10.12.6 betas.

But look at https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/imac/27-inch

Sierra 10.12.6 is not public now, but new 27" iMac with 580 is ready to deliver and is with Sierra 10.12.5 - this is the latest OS available now. Or I'm missing something ?

The third beta of macOS Sierra 10.12.6 is also available for public beta testers.

also, there's a specific update for the 2017 iMacs -> https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1921
the drivers are in there. if you know how to, you could extract them...

Out of my knowledge. I want to upgrade my Mid 2010 Mac Pro to "survive" until new Mac Pro arrive. I'm using FCP X, Motion so I was thinking to use RX480, but I'll will go for 580 with 10.12.6 final version.
