They seem to be a large high volume seller on ebay selling mostly refurbished pre-retina MBPs. Their description says, "Manufacturer refurbished. Comes tested by Apple Mac Technicians and backed by a 1-year warranty!”

I was under the impression that the only way to get a manufacturer refurbished MBP was from the online Apple Store. They're saying the battery and screen are in perfect condition and all the buyer would have to put up with is a few minor nicks and scratches. They have a 100 percent feedback rating out of a total of 4,286 sales. How can over four thousand buyers of used Mac computers be that happy? Some of their MBPs are only $699 with free shipping. Makes me wonder if I could tolerate a full glossy pre-retina display.

For $700 why buy a 7 year old computer? If I were you and budget is a concern I would really just save up.

That doesn't look like a very good deal to me.
If you're going to buy a "refurbished" Mac, buy one that is APPLE-refurbished.

'Nuff said 'bout that!

I wouldn't pay over $400 for a loaded 2010
I wouldn't pay any more for a 2011 - it's a ticking time bomb with that video card

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER. THEY ARE ALL FAKE.
I paid $1400 for a macbook lastyear, it was supposed to be very good model. However, it was very slow since the day i receive it. I was barely using it so I did not bring this issue. Then the computer stopped working! It was not turning on. I contacted to them aas I was told that i have 2 years of FREE WARRANTY. Guess what? Warranty covers only labor, it doesnt cover any repairement on the computer. They lied to me. I took my computer to macbook repair service. THey said the graphiic card was broken (how come??) and it costs $900 to fix it!!

Honestly, would not even buy refurbished directly from Apple. I bought the original Macbook Air refurbished from Apple and had nothing but problems with a glitchy graphics card. I would be very way of buying used computers, unless its directly from a friend and you have used the computer in question.
