Looks like apple lost out to Samsung on a nice tablet order. Thought I would post since MacRumors didn't post it in their headlines. I does show AA is using 10,000 iPads though. Wounder if apple is starting to loose its appeal. Stock market is sure hitting them hard.

The galaxy note fits their use exactly. Thats the size they were looking for since it's a tablet and phone in one device.

From the article, American Airlines choose the Galaxy Note phone instead of more iPads. Just goes to show that phablets are a great form factor. iPads would have been too cumbersome for flight attendents to carry while an iPhone does not have the screen area.

Yet another reason not to fly on American....

Meh, they are all equally as terrible. It's to the point now that I'm just happy to make it to my destination on time and more importantly alive albeit with SARS. "Would you like window, isle, or between two incredibly sick people?"
