As an early adopter of their original Domino game, I'm a little put off by the fact that I would have to buy another version with options that should have been offered with the original or an update.

I'll pass.

As a matter of fact, I just found Domino Touch. It's nice to see some competition. I believe I was one of the first members here requesting a Domino game, before there were any.

I'm also a little surprised to see this game as a separate app instead of adding these features to the original. And it's more expensive. What does American Dominos give you over the original other than playing off spinners and the scoring?

Trust me I wasnt very pleased to have to buy another game but international rules dominos sucks imho. Should it have been an update, maybe, but I know that not being able to play of the spinner takes all the fun out of dominos.

You can play off the spinner in the one "american" game in the original app, but you can only score up to 100. I prefer the challenge of not being able to play off the spinners.
