Hello,

How do i change the amount of widgets that show up on the left sidebar? It only allows me to put two rows and I’d like to fill the screen top to bottom with four.

iPadOS 14 doesn’t have the same widget ability as iOS 14. That may or may not change. For the moment, you are stuck.

That’s odd. Is that everyone’s limit? Even the screen shots on Apple‘s site show enough to fill the left column. This is as many as it will let me do.

Post the link of the Apple website you are speaking of.

If you are talking about the sidebar that has been there since iOS 13, mine is filled from top to bottom with a single widget on top of the other. Is that one you are wanting? if so, put Home Screen in wiggle mode and swipe left, tap the plus sign at the top and that will allow you to add or delete widgets in sidebar area.

So the top two rows are reserved as like "constant space", where the rest you add can go into "hidden mode". Swipe upwards with your finger (i.e. scroll down) in the widget area to reveal the hidden once. They will stay revealed until you hide them again or restart

No for iOS 14. It clearly shows 3 rows of widgets. The only way for me to see my 3rd row is when i slide it up

The other person referred to it as the iPadOS 13 sidebar, because it was also there in iOS13. The widgets are new, but the widget sidebar itself was available in iOS 13 too. And initially, he/she thought you meant more columns across the whole home screen, not just more rows in that area :)

ahhh thank you so much
''Cheers
