We had a letter from a customer demanding a refund today for their MacBook.
They claimed that either our company or Apple had decided to "play a joke" on their computer by tampering with one of the menus to say a rude word.
They included a screenshot and right enough, there, in the menu was the words: "F**k off d*ck"
The customer in their letter, seemed really offended by this, and further more, was seeking compensation from us and/or Apple.
Funny thing is, the customer, since being know to Mac's, didn't realise that this rude gesture of words was actually found within the Airport tab of the menu bar. So, obviously, one of their neighbours had named their wireless router "F**k off d*ck".
Had a good chuckle at that I did.
