Apple denied my version. They said I can not mimic the functionality of the iPhone.

Just so you know in the pictures on your site, the status bar is the standard gray bar, while the typical iPhone screen has the black status bar. it should be easy to change in the sdk - just thought i'd point it out to you.

Thanks rjgrune

I will make sure to correct that. Would you like a free version of the app when it is released? Please just send me your email address and I will take care of it.

We are currently still in the review process.

Any news on your cracked screen app under review?

I just had an app rejected by Apple because I simulated cracking the screen. They said it might lead to user confusion. What the heck? That's the whole point! It's a freaking joke! Will someone really think they broke their phone?

And it's not like I was simulating the main iPhone OS screen with all the icons - it was a minor feature within my own app. If the user got a little too eager with shaking the phone while using my app, there was a random chance the screen would display a simulated crack.

Sheesh! But if my app makes farting noises, well that's perfectly fine. Gotta love Apple's review process.

You just need to add a wobbling pair of boobs to it. App store moderators LOVE that....

App Store is a total joke these days...

Sonic Boom

Smule's Sonic Boom has a realistic cracked screen...stretch firecracker to enlarge it to biggest size, light it and when it explodes it cracks the screen.
Pretty entertaining & fun to show people.
Note it does NOT crack screen everytime firecracker explodes...may take a few tries. Also let's you blow away firecracker remnants by blowing into speaker & can also adjust fuse length.
