Other then ambiance or asleep what else can I invest into?
No voodoo here, just the age old trick of bringing balance to your sympathetic-parasympathetic nervous system. You can learn to fall asleep.

Just why dont you try to get your TV and Mac out of the bedroom, do some excercise in the morning, go walk in the afternoon... Dont eat that cheese burger at 8pm, get a warm shower in the evening, get in bed and turn lights off? Works for me every time....
did you read the link? 'cause "excercise" [sic], eating intelligently, and relaxing aren't all that dissimilar from what I'm hinting at.
Jeez, I'm not suggesting NLP hypnotic white noise crap or anything.
