Seems a bit outdated at this point, no?

The Surface Pro 4 is out and more importantly, Windows 10 changes the user experience quite a bit.

Most of the upper manager in my company are using surface pro 3's now, including all the administration team and a few of the drafting managers.

I'm probably gonna buy the surface pro 4 after I receive my Christmas bonus :)

I won't be doing much revit modelling, mainly trying to lean more about dynamo.

Really Good machine though!

Going by all of your previous comments, you're not really interested in anything Apple at all in first place, right?

Huh why the shot at me? Such a random post by you.

This is the alternative to ios Section. So what's your point?

Besides like a lot of people on these forum, I'm not a apple fanboy, I love technology.

In the last year I have had the iphone 6 plus and iPad air 2. I'm moving on to the next thing. Whats wrong with that?

Where did I say that it let me get down? Do you always read funny stuff into posts?
Then why did you decide to go through my post history and write such a post, without contributing zero to this topic?

I was simply wondering. It can be helpful to read a persons history to get an idea of what he likes / dislikes. And why would someone perceive a comment like "you don't like Apple products" as a "shot"? Wow.

"Shot"?? You're very sensitive. What's your point? Again, after reading your previous comments, I just came to the conclusion that you and Apple really aren't a great match. Do you think it's a bad thing for someone to look at your post history to get an idea of what you like or not? you're semi-amusing.

You didn't just look at my previous posts, you commented on a random thread which I liked a piece of technology. Then decided to make a random comment saying I don't seem to like Apple technology, implying that I shouldn't be on here.

All seems a bit bizzare and unnecessary is my point.

I'm not sensitive, I dont give two stuffs about your opinion about what you think I like or don't like. Just found it a very bizzare And random post is all.

Anyway back on topic: going to pre-order this device when I get home instead of waiting.

Not to sure what to get though, surface pro 4 or surfacebook. The only thing I don't like is the battery life of the book when in tablet mode.

Staples had the display model for $599 in their weekly ad so i price matched it at the MS store for a brand new one.
That is awesome. I thinking about getting one, but I don't want to spend a lot. Might get the i3 one. I know it's not super powerful, but it might do the trick.

I saw that on slickdeals, awesome deal congrats! The SP3 is going to be on firesale and a VERY good alternative to the SP4.

Most of the time I expect I'll use the surface book or as a laptop or with the keyboard attached to the back, as a platform for sketching, so I'm not worried about the tablet battery life. For uses where a true portable tablet works better, I expect I'll keep using my iPad mini.

I was thinking about getting an SP4 but just don't see enough of an upgrade to justify the price difference especially considering the fact that the new type covers are compatible.
