I am in Santa Clara for the MacIT conference and took a trip to 1 Infinite Loop to buy some swag (Company store was closed for renovations :( but sitting there I was curious to see what watches Apple employees were wearing and I saw Several folks (10+) wearing a pretty standard build. A silver Sport watch, with a shining BLACK Milanese loop. I am 1000% positive that is what it was and I wonder if it is exclusive to Watch employees? I even identified the magnetic clasp, shining in black stainless steel. It was definitely not a 3rd party band considering how many I saw.

Man, I'd love to have one of those, take it for what it's worth but I don't have the time to lie about something like this. Just thought some may be interested that it does exist and perhaps Apple will release it publicly.

Wow that is awesome! sounds cool. Personally I would get the silver one cause I have the silver Sport, but I imagine the black loop would look good as well.

I'd have to see pics to believe it. If it were so widely distributed, I'm sure a photo would have leaked by now.

I believe you. Apple has plenty of bands that they have not released to the public for whatever reason. Mostly to keep them unique for people high up in the Apple chain and celebrities.

As a resident of the area, I've seen it too, but at a grocery checkout line. Dude in front of me had the black milanese strap and had an Apple ID dangling from his belt
