I've finally had my macbook back from the repair shop after being without it for over a month for discolouration and a dodgy superdrive. However, I'm finding now that the battery takes a LOT longer to charge up than it did before it went in.

Now i'm not sure if this is down to something that's been done to the macbook, or possibly due to the battery update that was installed when I turned it on again.

Has anyone else had this problem after the battery update, or can shed any light on this strange issue?

Yeah that was the first thing I tried. It's not as if the battery life is less (although I do suspect it might be a bit) , it just takes hours to charge up to full now whereas it didn't before.

EDIT: Actually, the battery life is half what it used to be. What on earth is going on? Surely a battery update should make things better, not worse?
