Most of what's discussed in the link while not exciting, should bode well for Apple. The one dull area is what purports to be a lackluster & typically minor iPhone upgrade.
However the saving grace is ones option to dump their iPhone, replacing it with a light & easily pocketed feature phone, along with an iPad mini for smartphone functionality.
Slim light, with a very useful & spacious screen, it removes the burden so Apple doesn't have to build a modern sized smartphone. Since wifi is nearly everywhere, with a bit of planning there's money to be saved. Hence the mini ends up being a semi smartphone that makes up for Apples shortcomings in that category.
Problem solved.
