Ok.. I know we repeat it everytime but.. it has to be one of the worse keynote ever.

Jobs should have stayed home.

Do you not recall the Jobsless one? This one was significantly better.

Also, there is a difference between keynotes and what Apple was bringing to the table.

It's not like we were expecting a tablet.

How is this going to make Apple stock fall? They have upgraded there key ipod product line to make it yet more attractive to perspective buyers and a result should sell more than if they did not update them.

How? What the hell did you expected? OK, it was quite lame but they announced new iPods and iTunes as they was supposed to do. Or were you waiting for tablet or 499$ MacBook? IMO it was okay

Because, time and time again, people expect apple to revolutionize the world at there freaking ipod event somehow. WE KNOW THE SEPTEMBER EVENT IS ALWAYS IPODS.

Apples stock falls after everything it does. I'm pretty sure it fell after the iphone was introduced too.

So.. you spend 20 minutes announcing new iPod touch games, throwing 1000 numbers on how good sales are doing, and you don't bump any specs to bring it on par with the 3GS, minus a small pricecut ?
Ridiculous.

And don't get me started on the Nano, please.

wtf are you talking about. THIS IS WHAT THEY DO EVERY EVENT. The touch except the 8 GB is now on par with the 3gs.

Are you gonna bitch that they added a new functionality to the nano?

Yea, your just gonna bitch.

I am lost, that says nothing of the keynote, but of the product line-up updates. What were you looking for besides a camera on the iPod Touch? It's the traditional iPod event and they did quite a bit it seems.

It's not like there was a massive update between the 1st and 2nd generations of iPod Touch's.

I don't think you have any idea what you are talking about. Pretty much all the announcements today were already known. iTunes 9, OS 3.1, bumped specs of touch, and cameras for nanos. What made you think something else would be in?

They did bump the iPod Touch to the same graphics and processing as the iPhone. It was said in the keynote.

Surely Jobs returning to give even a mediocre keynote will help APPL stock???

Ah, the stock price thing. It's the shorters locking in profits from yesterday's run up (happens every time). They'll be coming back in starting Monday.

Actually, I was hoping for a 32gb Nano to replace the G3 iPod that lives in my car, so here's one...
