So I’ll make this fast. And I’m happy and upset at the same time.

I feel like the 11” iPad Pro in 2021 may lose the 120hz Promotion feature. Look at the date look at the features I’m not sure where they are sourcing the 11” OLED panels but make no mistake iPad Pro is going OLED in 2021. I just hope Apple can source quality 120hz OLED panels.

P.S. $299 was expensive give me 1 more year of compatibility make it fit for the 2021 model.

If that’s as sure as your guesses back when the 2017 entry level iPad was concerned (“it’s gonna lose the headphone jack, for sure”), I think we can calmly wait this one out too.

Consumption panel for a content creation device is unlikely to happen.

Mini-LED then eventually Micro-LED is what iPads will end up having. OLED has too many tradeoffs and is a technology on it's way out. Plus Apple has been working on developing and implementing Mini and micro LED for years. OLED iPhones were mostly done as place holders until mini-LED or micro-LED becomes available.

The new Samsung tablets have 120Hz OLED displays. Apple is most likely not using them right now for a reason and focusing on miniLED. microLED is most likely the next.

Thing is, OLED has a harder time doing 120Hz just because of the type of technology it is. If you have the right hardware... you can do 120Hz at 1440p on OLED, (but it isn't quite as good as having 120Hz on my iPad Pro 12.9" 3K display) or a 4K or 8K display. I'd rather have clear resolution and a quality display with true 120Hz refresh rates from hardware and software... not the "90-120Hz-kinda OLED phone". ;) lol

Well they are doing mini LED for the iPad Pro in 2021, so I think we can safely say you are not correct?

I‘ll bite any rumors about this or posts from sources ? I’d love a Mini-LED IPad Pro but how many Zones ? And please make it a 10-bit panel. I’m getting sick of these 8-bit panels.

Just because some Android tablet goes to OLED route doesn't mean Apple will use it too on their iPad pro's.
