And i thought the Mac Pro was a new revolutionary design

Cylinders are not a revolutionary design. Campbell's has been making for for over a century. A full desktop computer, not an electronic peripheral like that, is a new approach for a cylinder.
 
Looks a little bit similar I guess, well same general cylinder shape (more like a cut off teardrop) in black.

The *revolutionary design* is more the layout of the parts inside the new Mac Pro though.

Yep. The only place full desktops have been appearing in cylinder form is the case modders world.

It is the unified thermal core that is revolutionary. The shape is a result of that. The user review in the link saying the router gets too hot means it is the opposite of the Mac Pro.
 
Look up "hyperloop", then put the MP on its side. The prototype photos don't show the mechanism to link these together to form long tubes.
