remember how before WWDC there were so many Apple TV set rumors? and now for over a month we don't have one single rumor about the Apple TV set...

i don't like this..

And really what more is there to discuss at this point? There are no major Apple Events announced and just about all possibilities of what the Apple TV could be has already been covered. If you want to read more About a possible AppleTV do a search of the forums....

That's because everyone is too freakin busy predicting the second coming of iPad in all its 7.85-inch God-given glory.

And, then, when the fall event comes and goes with no signs of an iPad Mini, those rumors will also disappear. For a few months, anyway.

There is a difference between rumors and credibles rumors. Even the credible websites/newspapers sometimes print/post rumors that are wrong. I think when it comes to the AppleTV, they are filtering more now since they were burned/wrong with rumors of new AppleTV software at WWDC.

If there is an Apple TV set, it will no doubt have it's own event. I still don't believe there will be one though. More likely changes/additions to ATV plus third party apps and a new app store. That would probably also be big enough news to merit a special event. It could be under the radar without a big associated hardware launch, and could happen anytime without much warning.

The Apple Mini TV. Confirmed.

The way I see it you will be better off with a more established company with your tv purchase.

Apple TV plugged into your favorite tv = what ATV is going to be....
