First they removed the old iTunes editing interface and made it harder to access some of the data fields. But they gave you a key combo to access the old interface. Then, in a later update, they took that away too. And now, the Music app in iOS takes away the shuffle button and they hid it in a play dialog, meaning you have to start a song before you can start shuffling. I guess the simple shuffle button was too useful. Add to that, all the things from the past eliminated (like Front Row).

I'm getting tired of Apple dumbing down their media stuff. Every thing they do is an effort to force you away from your own media and towards their streaming stuff and its getting tiresome.

Yes, my biggest issue with the new app is that I can no longer shuffle by artist without having to click on the artist, and then click shuffle once the music starts playing. Some real horrible UI changes there.

maybe it bothers him. Some people here are reals jerks when someone says something "bad" about Apple. Time to grow up

I hated that about the metadata interface too, but found that now when you change the media type all of the pertinent fields magically show up so that you can edit them. It's actually less confusing for me at least because it shows only the fields that are pertinent to that media type, where the old interface showed everything and sometimes I didn't know the fields that I needed to enter.
