Android app that tells you what is trying to send info from phone?

Is anyone aware of an Android app that will indicate to you when something is trying to send info to somewhere else? Something similar to Little Snitch for Mac OS?

You would have to root the device.

I use Connects app that shows a visualization of outbound connections from your device with app name, geoip location, destination IP address, port # and connection state.
