Two things I did a fair amount on my iPhone was to either email myself a URL while in Safari or add a direct link to the page open on a home screen.

I'm using the Habit browser on my S4 Active and like it a great deal except it has no option to do either of these things. It appears most Android browsers only give you the option to add a page to a home screen if you have said page already set as a bookmark. I see no Android app so far that let's you email a page you are currently viewing.

Two small features from iOS Safari that I took for granted. Any suggestions of Android browsers that can do these two things would be appreciated.

I use Firefox Beta and it allows what your asking. Just tap the menu key while viewing any page and then tap share. Allows you to share to email and a ton of other apps you might have installed.

BTW ...... The default browser does the same. And probably most other browsers.

In the browser, Menu button->Share
will do it for you.

I found the menu key in Habit and it does allow me to email links. However I still see no option to add a page to my home screen.

I don't know about habit but the default Samsung browser has a "save url to desktop" in menu.

I just looked. I believe it's 'add shortcut'.

I don't see such an option in Habit sadly.

If Habit is your default browser the shortcut may open directly in that. Try creating one with the Samsung browser and see if you have a choice of which to open it in! ()I'm clutching at straws a little here). :)

It should work. If the OP has already set a permanent default, he might need to go into settings and reset that. Once that's done the popup of which browser to open should appear.

The issue is that the Habit browser cannot pin a page to my homescreen.
