I spent a little time searching and didn't find a solution. I'm trying to delete all text messages before a specific date. I've checked the Google Messages and Microsoft's SMS Organizer apps. Neither had this option.

- Going through individual threads and deleting messages before that date is too time consuming.
- I've already deleted all the old threads prior to that date. Now I have a bunch of newer threads where I just want to clear out those old messages from them.
- Any automatic cleaning option which goes by week, month, year before. Won't work. The date needs to be specific.
- I'm hoping there's an Android app with this option. I'll only use one in the Google Play Store. I won't use any which requires installing a third party store or side loading.
- I don't really care if it's paid or free.
- While I'd prefer an on device option. If necessary I'll do this with some Windows Android Manager if one has this option. But if it's something I need to pay for. I'd prefer something which allows managing and transferring backups between iOS and Android devices.

Basically, my issue is from my own laziness.
- When I moved from iOS to Android. I migrated my old messages.
- When I moved from Android to iOS. I just restored my iCloud Backup.
- Now my iPhone has messages prior to moving to Android and after moving from Android. These are all synced to iCloud. As it's been several months. I want to merge the messages from in between without duplication of the really old messages (ie Just the messages I received while on Android).

I didn't transfer right away as I wasn't sure if I'd be happy going back from Android and the Android to iOS transfer looked more bothersome than the iOS to Android transfer was. Then I stopped thinking about it.
