It appears Apple no longer includes android device drivers in 10.11. I only noticed this because I usually offload my photos from my Nexus 6, an it appears to no longer be recognized by my Mac regardless of if I am in USB debug mode, MTP or PTP.

Can anyone else confirm? Or have suggestions on how to fix?

Maybe, you need a parallel or vmware fusion to load Windows, and offload photos from your Nexus 6.

Or, I think there would be a geeky way to "compile and install drivers" on your Mac since OS X is based on Unix. :p

Have you used the Android File Transfer app?

I actually forgot about this post. The GM works with Android. The cable I was using was bad.
